Ο Φιλανδός Jaire Pätäri είναι ο άνθρωπος πίσω από αυτή την εξαιρετική μπάντα και το Smoke Green Mirror είναι το έκτο μεγάλο άλμπουμ του. The Finnish Jaire Pätäri is the man behind this excellent band and the "Smoke Green Mirror" is his sixth lp. Here, in half the songs on the record he has done everything himself, while in the other half there are musicians who accompany him. Octopus Syng's music takes us back to the golden age of psychedelia! References to the decade (mainly from '66-'71) where psychedelia shone like the most precious sparkler are present in every tune, in every song. In the songs you can discover exquisite trip out sounds, incredible psychedelic passages from the guitars, a haunting organ, of course the lyrics. In conclusion you can feel the deep love that Jaire Pätäri has for psychedelia and especially for Barrett. Overall the album is amazing, the constant music, drop out, queen of blue shadows, the almost surf-instro!! once we were almost innocent, the acid folk my foggy hours and of course the almost 9-minute magical starlight take off the purity and romantic mood of Octopus Syng's compositions. 200 super-precious copies await.
