Οι Le Mur δημιουργήθηκαν το 2007 και αυτό είναι το τέταρτο άλμπουμ τους. Μας έρχονται από την πόλη Μπόχουμ της Γερμανίας και είναι τρία άτομα, οι Matthias Gräf, Janine Ficklscherer, Georgios Dosis. Το είδος της μουσικής που παίζουν δεν είναι ένα. Ξεκινούν το κάθε τραγούδι και μοιάζουν σαν να οδηγούνται από το ένστικτο τους το οποίο είναι ιδιαίτερα περίπλοκο και εξαιρετικά δημιουργικό. Ξεκινώντας να ακούς το κάθε τραγούδι είναι σαν να μπαίνεις σε ένα λαβύρινθο με άγνωστο φυσικά προορισμό, στην πορεία όμως τα πάντα ξεκαθαρίζουν, τα πάντα έχουν σκοπό που γίνονται και κυρίως το αποτέλεσμα είναι εξόχως συγκλονιστικό!

Ο ήχος τους τρεμοπαίζει ανάμεσα σε ψυχεδελικούς, prog, τζαζ, πειραματικούς, noise, space κλπ ήχους-οι ίδιοι προτιμούν τον όρο art rock, αλλά αυτό που ολοκληρώνει αυτό το κράμα των διαφορετικών ήχων είναι μια σκοτεινή διάθεση, και όχι οι Le Mur δεν είναι πεσιμιστές, αλλά μέσω της σκοτεινής διαδρομής που επιλέγουν οδηγούνται σταδιακά προς το φως. Γιατί, ακούγοντας προσεκτικά, δυνατά και με ακουστικά τα τραγούδια τους ένιωσα έντονα το αίσθημα της λύτρωσης να υπερκαλύπτει όλα τα υπόλοιπα. Και στα τέσσερα τραγούδια του άλμπουμ, τα …The Past Will Be Perfect…, Today Is the Day/The Beauty Of Now, Another Life/Burning the Tree/I See You, …For the Puzzles Of The Future, το τρίο συγκεντρώνεται στον ήχο του σήμερα, αντλώντας όμως από τα 70ς και τα 80ς. Την παραγωγή, το χρωματιστό βινύλιο, τα πάντα τα έχουν φροντίσει οι ίδιοι και το τελικό αποτέλεσμα είναι άκρως εντυπωσιακό! Όπως, επίσης εντυπωσιακό είναι και το εξώφυλλο του άλμπουμ, φτιαγμένο από τον Giannis Bachlavas. Ακούστε τους και ανακαλύψτε πως μπορούν να δέσουν ηχητικά μπάντες όπως οι Camel, οι Doors, John Coltrane, Kyuss, Hawkwind κλπ.   

 

Le Mur formed in 2007 and this is their fourth album. They come to us from Bochum, Germany and they are three people, Matthias Gräf, Janine Ficklscherer, Georgios Dosis. The kind of music they play is not one. They start each song and seem to be driven by their instinct which is highly complex and highly creative. Starting to listen to each song is like entering a labyrinth with an unknown natural destination, but along the way everything is clear, everything has a purpose and above all the result is extremely shocking! Their sound flickers between psychedelic, prog, jazz, experimental, noise, space etc sounds - they themselves prefer the term art rock, but what completes this fusion of different sounds is a dark mood, no Le Mur are not pessimists , but through the dark path they are gradually led to the light. Because, listening carefully, loudly and with headphones to their songs, I strongly felt the feeling of redemption overshadowing everything else feelings. In all four songs on the album, …The Past Will Be Perfect…, Today Is the Day/The Beauty Of Now, Another Life/Burning the Tree/I See You, …For the Puzzles Of The Future, the trio concentrate on sound of today, but drawing from the 70s and 80s. The production, the colored vinyl, everything has been taken care of by themselves and the final result is extremely impressive! Listen to them and discover how they can connect sound bands like Camel, the Doors, John Coltrane, Kyuss, Hawkwind etc. And what a great cover by Giannis Bachlavas!!
