Τρίτο άλμπουμ για τους θεσσαλονικιούς Basements, όπου ξεκινώντας από το καταπληκτικής ψυχεδελικης (σχεδόν) αισθητικής εξώφυλλο/οπισθόφυλλο και καταλήγοντας στα τραγούδια οι Basements αγγίζουν απλησίαστες κορυφές. Το τρίτο αυτό άλμπουμ τους θεωρώ ότι είναι και το καλύτερο τους, το πιο ώριμο και το πιο μεστό. Γκαράζ/φολκ/moody/psych είναι οι δρόμοι που έχουν ακολουθήσει σε αυτά τα τραγούδια με μερικά από αυτά να είναι πραγματικά καταπληκτικά. Το morning, το mary ann (τι κομματάρα), τα θανατηφόρα moody time will do the rest & I'm For My Own, το υπέροχο she was mine, το sounds of yesterdays ένας γκαράζ πανκ δυναμίτης, το psych/garage rainy days, το περισσότερο ψυχεδελικό τραγούδι show me the way και φυσικά το ανεπανάληπτο children of tomorrow, το οποίο στάζει τόνους 12χορδων, fuzz και αδυσώπητης φαρφίσας, ένα τραγούδι για το οποίο θα ήταν περήφανοι οι Music Machine ή οι The Human Expression, οι οποίοι είχαν ρίξει (μαζί με πολλούς άλλους) τον σπόρο για να υπάρξουν μπάντες σαν τους Basements. Ο ήχος τους ακροβατεί με απίστευτη ταλάντωση μεταξύ των συγκροτημάτων της γκαράζ αναβίωσης των 80ς και του γκαράζ ήχου των  μέσων 60ς, εκεί που ο γκαράζ ήχος γινόταν είτε πιο φολκ είτε πιο ψυχεδελικός, κάπου ΄65-΄67, λίγο πριν την άνθιση των χίπις και του πιο καθαρού και κρυστάλλινου ασυναγώνιστου ψυχεδελικού ήχου.

Third album for the Thessaloniki-based The Basements, where starting from the amazing psych aesthetic cover/back cover and ending with the songs, The Basements reach unapproachable heights. I consider this their third album to be their best, the most mature and the densest of the previous two. Garage/folk/moody/psych are the paths they have taken in these songs with some of them being really amazing. "morning", "mary ann" (what a track!!), the great moody "time will do the rest" and the "I'm For My Own", the wonderful "she was mine",  the "sounds of yesterdays"  a garage punk dynamite, the psych/garage "rainy days", the more psychedelic song "show me the way" and of course the brilliant "children of tomorrow", which drips with tons of 12-strings, fuzz and relentless farfisa, a song for which bands like Music Machine or The Human Expression will proud, who (along with many others) planted the seed for bands like the Basements! Their sound oscillates incredible between 80s garage revival bands and the garage sound of the mid 60s, where the garage sound became either more folk or more psychedelic, somewhere around ΄65-΄67, just before the flowering of the hippies and the purer and more crystalline psychedelic sound. One of the top Greek albums!
