FLYNOTES The Goddess of Sunrise

The Flynotes come from St. Petersburg and consist of three people, Alira Julia Versen (bass) Roman Komarov (guitar) Natasha Bogulyan (drums). They were created in 2011 and since then they have released 4 albums on their own. The Goddess of Sunrise will be released soon this year by Hærverk Industrier. This band plays instrumental doom, puts on some experimental elements and some more progressive ones, dresses them with sludge sheets and through all these elements this trio presents us with its musical world. I have no problem getting excited about the track that opens the album, when alcohol ran out, which contains the sound of a cool guitar having a very interesting conversation with a haunted theremin (probably). Otherwise, the sound and moods of this band leave me indifferent since it does not belong to my musical tastes. But I imagine that many friends of this sound will probably be excited.

Οι Flynotes έρχονται από την Αγία Πετρούπολη και αποτελούνται από τρία άτομα, τους, Alira Julia Versen (μπάσο) Roman Komarov (κιθάρα) Natasha Bogulyan (τύμπανα). Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2011 και έκτοτε έχουν κυκλοφορήσει μόνοι τους 4 άλμπουμ. Το The Goddess of Sunrise θα κυκλοφορήσει σύντομα, μέσα σε αυτό το έτος από την Hærverk Industrier. Η μπάντα αυτή παίζει ινστρουμένταλ doom, βάζει κάποια πειραματικά στοιχεία και κάποια πιο progressive, τα ντύνει με σεντόνια από sludge και μέσω όλων αυτών των στοιχείων το τρίο αυτό μας παρουσιάζει τον μουσικό του κόσμο. Δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα να ενθουσιαστώ με το κομμάτι που ανοίγει το άλμπουμ, το when alcohol ran out, το οποίο περιέχει τον ήχο της κιθάρας ο οποίος έχει μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα συνομιλία με μια στοιχειωμένη θερεμίνη (μάλλον). Κατά τα άλλα, ο ήχος και οι διαθέσεις της μπάντας αυτής με αφήνει αδιάφορο μιας και δεν είναι ανήκει στα μουσικά μου γούστα. Φαντάζομαι όμως ότι οι πολλοί φίλοι του συγκεκριμένου ήχου μάλλον θα ενθουσιαστούν.
