Requiem Pour Un Twister

I didn’t know the Triptides. (well, what band do you finally know, buddy?). Wrong, big mistake, I admit it! And this is their sixth album, and the third for this label. This band, which comes from L.A., is an excellent band that plays psychedelic pop music with several paisley touches. This album is crammed with wonderful melodies, songs that beat in your soul, as the brilliant visitors, in which the guitar and the organ knit unforgettable moments, the folk/garage flashing before your eyes with the revolutionary solo, the completely sixties sunday in the park, the tender strange love, the child of God, all my life ... Triptides are in the sixties, and in groups like Byrds, Strawberry Alarm Clock etc, they also seem to inspire influences from 80s and bands such as Three O Clock or Rain Parade, even Dukes Of Stratosphear etc but the uniqueness and incredible melody of their song reveal their extraordinary talent !!!! A dazzling release from a wonderfully band!

Δεν γνώριζα τους Triptides. (καλά και ποιο συγκρότημα γνωρίζεις τελικά ρε φίλε;). Λάθος, μεγάλο λάθος, το παραδέχομαι! Και για φαντάσου...αυτό ειναι το έκτο άλμπουμ τους, και το τρίτο στη σειρά για αυτό το label. Η μπάντα αυτή, η οποία μας έρχεται απο το L.A. ειναι ενα εξαιρετικό συγκρότημα το οποίο παίζει ψυχεδελική ποπ μουσική με αρκετές paisley πινελιές. Το άλμπουμ αυτό ειναι πλυμμηρισμένο απο υπέροχες μελωδίες, τραγούδια που σε χτυπάνε δυνατά στην ψυχή, όπως ειναι το μοναδικό visitors, στο οποίο η κιθάρα και το όργανο πλέκουν απίθανες στιγμές, το φολκ/γκαράζ flashing before your eyes με το ξεσηκωτικό σόλο, το εντελώς σίξτις sunday in the park, το τρυφερό strange love, το child of god, το all my life...... Οι Triptides πατάνε γερά στα σίξτις και σε γκρουπ όπως οι Byrds, Strawberry Alarm Clock κλπ, επίσης, μοιάζουν να αντλούν στοιχεία απο τα 80ς και απο μπάντες όπως ήταν οι Three O Clock ή οι Rain Parade, ακόμα και οι Dukes Of Stratosphear κλπ, αλλά η μοναδικότητα και η απίστευτη μελωδικότητα των τραγουδιών τους μας φανερώνει το εξαιρετικό τους ταλέντο!!!! Μια εκθαμβωτική κυκλοφορία απο ενα υπέροχο συγκρότημα!
