The Subsonics released their first album in 1992 and since then they have released another six! This is their eighth, fourth for the Slovenly. Here again, Buffi Aguero, Clav Reed, Rob Del Bueno, continue to record small cool tracks (nine of the fourteen songs last for less than two minutes!!) garage/punk aesthetics. Their difference with most of the (vapidly) groups that have the same sound is that Subsonics have splendidness talents and, above all, their influences come naturally from the sixties, but also bands such as Modern Lovers and Velvet have watered their minds with all these essential ingredients that a band needs to be singled out! Flesh colored paint, begging hands, die a little, most popular boy in town, johnny left-hand, permanent gnaw, are just as enjoyable, just as they are all Subsonics albums.

Οι Subsonics έβγαλαν το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ το 1992 και έκτοτε έβγαλαν άλλα έξη! Αυτό ειναι το όγδοο τους, τέταρτο στη σειρά για την Slovenly. Και εδω, οι Buffi Aguero, Clav Reed, Rob Del Bueno, συνεχίζουν να ηχογραφούν μικρά διαμαντάκια (εννέα απο τα δέκατεσσερα τραγούδια έχουν διάρκεια κάτω των δύο λεπτών!!) γκαράζ/πανκ αισθητικής. Η διαφορά τους με τα περισσότερα (ανούσια) γκρουπ που διαθέτουν τον ίδιο ήχο, είναι οτι οι Subsonics διαθέτουν απεριόριστο ταλέντο και κυρίως, οι επιρροές τους πηγάζουν φυσικά απο τα σίξτις, παράλληλα όμως συγκροτήματα όπως ήταν οι Modern Lovers καθώς και οι Velvet έχουν ποτίσει τα μυαλά τους με όλα αυτά τα απαραίτητα συστατικά που χρειάζεται μια σύχγρονη μπάντα, ώστε να ξεχωρίζει! Τα, flesh colored paint, begging hands, die a little, most popular boy in town, johnny left-hand, permanent gnaw, ειναι άκρως απολαυστικά, όπως ακριβώς είναι και τα άλμπουμ των Subsonics.
