Ο ήχος των biG Grunt είναι εξόχως αντεργκράουντ, τα γκρουπ που μας φέρνουν στο μυαλό είναι οι θρυλικοί Edgar Brought Band και Deviants, οι Liverpool Scene κλπ, οι ίδιοι είναι εξαιρετικοί μουσικοί, το cyborg signal παρέμενε ακυκλοφόρητο ως τώρα, το 11 mustachioed daughters είναι μια ανυπέρβλητη αντεργκράουντ/ασιντ τραγουδάρα, η έκδοση αυτή είναι η πρώτη επίσημη για αυτή την ηχογράφηση και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 26/9 σε 500 κίτρινες πολύτιμες κόπιες! Now, I think we should get ready for a dip in the magical ambient/psychedelic depths of German Neo-Krautrock band Sounds Of New Soma and with their second album entitled Moebius Tunnel. The Dirk Raupach and Alex Djelassi are the only members of this group, the song compositions possessed by an atmosphere full in the synths that gives in the sound and a more space listening pleasure! Starting from lysergdelfin and kosmonautengluck, which is sufficient ambient then subraumverzerrung comes and lifts us with electronic drums, vocals and rhythm. The stech/apfel takes us up and down, while the amazing and fantastic morgengebet sends us into fathomless deeps and  includes the sound of S.O.N.S in all its glory!!! Bonus cd track will find the excellent neuland.

Τώρα, νομίζω ότι πρέπει να ετοιμαστούμε για μια βουτιά στον μαγικό ambient/ψυχεδελικό βυθό του γερμανικού Neo-Krautrock γκρουπ Sounds Of New Soma και με το δεύτερο άλμπουμ τους με τίτλο Moebius Tunnel. Ο Dirk Raupach και ο Alex Djelassi αποτελούν τα μοναδικά μέλη αυτού του γκρουπ, οι συνθέσεις των τραγουδιών διακατέχονται από μια ατμόσφαιρα πλημμυρισμένη από τα synths τα οποία προσδίδουν στον ήχο και μια ποιο space ηχητική απόλαυση! Ξεκινώντας από τα lysergdelfin και kosmonautengluck, τα οποία είναι αρκούντως ambient στη συνέχεια το subraumverzerrung έρχεται και μας ανυψώνει με τα ηλεκτρονικά τύμπανα, τα φωνητικά και το ρυθμό. Το stech/apfel μας πηγαινοφέρνει πάνω κάτω, δεξιά αριστερά και το καταπληκτικό αλλά και καταλυτικό, morgengebet μας στέλνει σε απύθμενους βυθούς και φυσικά περικλείει τον ήχο των S.O.N.S σε όλο του το μεγαλείο!!! Μπόνους στο σιντί θα βρείτε το εξαιρετικό neuland.

Slovenly/Black Gladiator, discovered and introduced us.

The Wead with the two songs they take care to excite us overly with the airy garage dew that emitting and more cool vocals that take off the by the whey and the and I and she. I seem excessive if I characterize this single a small masterpiece?

Back form the Grave τώρα!!! Το 7΄΄ αυτό των The Wead, ενός εφηβικού γκρουπ των 60ς, παρέμενε ως τώρα ακυκλοφόρητο. Ευτυχώς ήρθε η Slovenly/Black Gladiator, το ανακάλυψε και μας το παρουσιάζει!! Οι Wead και στα δυο τους τραγούδια φροντίζουν να μας ενθουσιάσουν υπερβολικά με την αέρινη γκαράζ δροσιά που εκπέμπουν και τα ακόμη πιο δροσερά φωνητικά που απογειώνουν και το by the whey και το and I and she. Θα φανώ υπερβολικός αν χαρακτηρίσω αυτό το σινγκλάκι ένα μικρό αριστούργημα;  

INDICA Stone Future Hymns

The Australians Indica created by Jayesh Talati in 2012. Stone Future Hymns is their first album, contains 5 tracks, a release of 500 copies, 200 copies green and 300 black! Their sound is dark, it is hard, slow and doom !! The guitars are abysmal, bass and drums give a volume which crushes everything in its passage! As you can understand its away from the musical tastes of gew-gaw but I imagine that the friends of this sound will be thrilled with Indica!

Οι Αυστραλοί Indica δημιουργήθηκαν από τον Jayesh Talati το 2012. Το Stone Future Hymns είναι το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ, περιέχει 5 συνθέσεις και είναι κυκλοφορία 500 αντιτύπων, 200 πράσινες κόπιες και 300 μαύρες! Ο ήχος τους είναι σκοτεινός, είναι σκληρός, είναι αργός και είναι doom!! Οι κιθάρες είναι αβυσσαλέες, το μπάσο και τα τύμπανα δίνουν έναν όγκο ο οποίος τσακίζει τα πάντα στο πέρασμα του!

Όπως καταλαβαίνεται είναι μακριά από τα μουσικά κέντρα του gew-gaw αλλά φαντάζομαι ότι οι φίλοι του ήχου αυτού θα ενθουσιαστούν με τους Indica!

OCTOPUS SYNG Hollow Ghost-Rochelle Salt

Ok, I think that these Finnish guys had drop into the magic kettle of Syd Barrett, have been mixed with all these psychedelic ingredients and they have served us an excellent dish, the formula of which is hard to find. It is difficult in modern psychedelic scene to find such a group, which is influenced mainly by the early Floyd and of course from Barrett, writing so amazing, both functionally and so highly psychedelic songs !! All songs (literally!!!!) possessed a bottomless charm, are brilliant, are sufficiently trippy, slightly dark (remember Paul Roland), you fall in love with them immediately, are magical and as I wrote several times so far, are supremely psychedelic! I think the Hollow Ghost-Rochelle Salt is one of the biggest releases of recent years. And the songs here are real masterpieces, the magic fluttering of carbon dust and latin romances 1927, the woman, the echoes from the past centuries, the surrealistic room, the lady florette.. ALL!!! Take your copy NOW!!

Εντάξει, νομίζω ότι οι Φιλανδοί τούτοι έχουν πέσει στη μαγική χύτρα του Syd Barrett, έχουν ανακατευτεί με όλα αυτά τα ψυχεδελικά συστατικά και μας έχουν σερβιριστεί σαν ένα έξοχο έδεσμα που όμοιο του δύσκολα βρίσκει κανείς. Μου είναι δύσκολο στην σύγχρονη ψυχεδελική σκηνή να βρω ένα τέτοιο γκρουπ, το οποίο επηρεασμένο κυρίως από τους πρώιμους Floyd και φυσικά από τον Barrett, να γράφει τόσο καταπληκτικά, τόσο λειτουργικά και τόσο εξόχως ψυχεδελικά τραγούδια!! Όλα τα τραγούδια (στην κυριολεξία!!!!) διακατέχονται από μια απύθμενη γοητεία, είναι λαμπρά, είναι αρκούντως τριπαριστά, είναι ελαφρώς σκοτεινά (θυμηθείτε τον Paul Roland), τα ερωτεύεσαι αμέσως, είναι μαγευτικά και όπως έγραψα και αρκετές φορές ως τώρα, είναι σε υπέρτατο βαθμό ψυχεδελικά! Νομίζω ότι το Hollow Ghost-Rochelle Salt συγκαταλέγεται στις κορυφαίες κυκλοφορίες των τελευταίων χρόνων. Και τα τραγούδια εδώ μέσα είναι πραγματικά αριστουργήματα, το μαγικό φτερούγισμα του carbon dust and latin romances 1927, το woman, το echoes from the past centuries, το surrealistic room, το lady florette…. ΟΛΑ!!

The Cal, or if you prefer Cal Rock & Roll, were created in the mid-70s in New York. Their only album was recorded in 1980 and released two years later. Their sound is clear 70s rock, but there are four songs justifiably have given the record a more psychedelic dimension. The today, in both versions, with its voices and instro, the brilliant state of mind and of course the amazing courageous cat with Doors influences. A fantastic acid song amazing for the date that was recorded with unbelievable guitar solo!

Οι Cal, ή αν προτιμάτε οι Cal Rock & Roll, είχαν δημιουργηθεί στα μέσα των 70ς στην Νέα Υόρκη. Το μοναδικό τους άλμπουμ ηχογραφήθηκε το 1980 και κυκλοφόρησε δυο χρόνια αργότερα. Ο ήχος τους είναι ξεκάθαρος 70ς ροκ, αλλά υπάρχουν και 4 τραγούδια που δικαιολογημένα του έχουν δώσει μια πιο ψυχεδελική διάσταση. Το today, και στις δυο εκδοχές του, με τα φωνητικά και το ίνστρο, το υπέροχο state of mind και φυσικά το καταπληκτικό courageous cat  με τις Doors προεκτάσεις. Ένα φανταστικό άσιντ τραγούδι, (σχεδόν) αδιανόητο για την χρονολογία που ηχογραφήθηκε με απίθανο κιθαριστικό σόλο!

HIDDEN TRAILS Instant Momentary Bliss

The Instant Momentary Bliss of Hidden Trails is the first album and is a trippy album, with beautiful compositions, sometimes psychedelic, with some progressive passages, some more indie rock references and with Floyd of 70s (and other groups of the 70s) suspended in their sound! With members from Hypnos 69 (two of three) the Hidden Trails have more extended sound, lancelot that opens the album is quite beautiful and psychedelic, in the excellent instro mutations, enclosed I think the sound that represent , the space shuffle is a 70s (almost) hard rock moment, but this that blew my mind is the hands unfold, a super psychedelic piece, with fantastic guitar solo and rhythm that takes you off !!!

Το Instant Momentary Bliss των Hidden Trails είναι το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ και είναι ένα ταξιδιάρικο άλμπουμ, με όμορφες συνθέσεις, ενίοτε ψυχεδελικές, με κάποια progressive περάσματα, κάποιες πιο indie ροκ αναφορές και με τους Floyd των μέσων 70ς (αλλά και άλλων γκρουπ των 70ς) να αιωρούνται στον ήχο τους! Με μέλη από τους Hypnos 69 (οι δυο από τους τρεις) οι Hidden Trails έχουν πιο διευρυμένο ήχο, το lancelot που ανοίγει το άλμπουμ είναι αρκετά όμορφο και ψυχεδελικό, στο εξαιρετικό ίνστρο mutations, νομίζω ότι περικλείεται ο ήχος που αντιπροσωπεύουν,  το space shuffle είναι μια 70ς (σχεδόν) χαρντ ροκ στιγμή, αλλά αυτό που με ξετίναξε είναι το hands unfold, ένα έξοχο ψυχεδελικό κομμάτι, με υπέροχα ανεβάσματα της κιθάρας και ρυθμό που απογειώνει!!!

The new album of Radio Moscow is a double lp, recorded live at the Satellite club in Los Angeles in December of '15. Psychedelic r'n'r blues, the guitar of Parker Griggs screams of intensity and the Anthony Meier bass and drums by Paul Marrone to rage by the momentum with which keep the pace. 14 songs, 13 of them from all 5 albums and there is a cover on the chance of fate of Sainte Anthony's Fyre,a band from the 70s! The sound of Radio Moscow is an incredible blend of Stooges and Jimmy Hendrix! Amazing !!

Το νέο άλμπουμ των Radio Moscow είναι ένα διπλό lp, ζωντανά ηχογραφημένο στο κλαμπ Satellite στο Λος Άντζελες τον Δεκέμβρη του ’15. Ψυχεδελικό r’n’r blues, με την κιθάρα του Parker Griggs να τσιρίζει από ένταση και το μπάσο του Anthony Meier καθώς και τα τύμπανα του Paul Marrone να λυσσομανάνε από την ορμή με την οποία κρατάνε τον ρυθμό. 14 τραγούδια, τα 13 εκ των οποίων από τα 5 άλμπουμ τους, ενώ υπάρχει και μια διασκευή στο chance of fate των Sainte Anthony’s Fyre, μπάντα των 70ς! Alienfunk is the third album of German Knall, recorded live at the Monsters of krautrock festival. This release is a double vinyl, 500 copies, 300 transparent and 200 black, with only 7 long songs be included! The sound is scattered krautrock mixture with funk guitar passages and this results in explosive and sufficiently with impressive results. If, as I said at the beginning, we consider that it is a recording from a gig, then we only have to add the Alienfunk on the releases that stand for 2016 !!

Το Alienfunk είναι το τρίτο άλμπουμ των γερμανών Knall, ζωντανά ηχογραφημένο στο φεστιβάλ Monsters of krautrock festival. Πρόκειται για κυκλοφορία διπλού βινυλίου, 500 αντιτύπων, 300 διάφανων και 200 μαύρων, με μόλις 7 τραγούδια, μεγάλης όμως διάρκειας, να περιέχονται μέσα! Ο ήχος τους είναι ένα μείγμα krautrock με σκόρπια φανκ κιθαριστικά περάσματα και αυτό έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα ένα εκρηκτικό και ταυτόχρονα αρκούντως εντυπωσιακό αποτέλεσμα. Αν, όπως σας είπα και στην αρχή, λάβουμε υπόψη ότι είναι και ηχογράφηση από συναυλία, τότε δεν έχουμε παρά να προσθέσουμε το Alienfunk στις κυκλοφορίες που ξεχωρίζουν για το 2016!!

The Portuguese Brooms consists by former members of Act-Ups, Sullens, Gasolines etc. The In Your Face is a good garage single with revival 80s sound, the Fuzztones have influenced their sound the bang and the zombie avenue is amazing garage-psych songs, while the house boat and in your face is more typical garage tracks. If you like the particular sound, then this is definitely for you.

Οι Πορτογάλοι Brooms αποτελούνται από πρώην μέλη των Act-Ups, Sullens, Gasolines κλπ. Το In Your Face είναι ένα καλό γκαράζ σινγκλάκι, με αναβιωτικό 80ς ήχο, οι Fuzztones έχουν επηρεάσει αρκετά τον ήχο τους, το bang και το zombie avenue είναι καταπληκτικά γκαραζοψυχεδελικά τραγούδια, ενώ τα house boat και in your face είναι πιο τυπικά γκαράζ κομμάτια. Αν σας αρέσει ο συγκεκριμένος ήχος, τότε αυτό είναι σίγουρα για σας.

THE THINGZ Troubles Begin 12''ep

Thingz from California adore Bill Childish and the corresponding garage punk bands have (cool) male and female vocals, rough aggressive sound, their lyrics deal with "cute" themes, the songs are short in duration, guitar, bass and drums get fire! What more for a fan of this sound to get pleased? Okay, I'm not the best fan of this music but I have no problem to admit that I absolute derailed by tell me why !!!.

Οι Thingz από την Καλιφόρνια λατρεύουν τον Bill Childish και τα αντίστοιχα γκαράζ πανκ συγκροτήματα, έχουν αντρικά και γυναικεία φωνητικά, τραχύ επιθετικό ήχο, οι στίχοι τους ασχολούνται με «χαριτωμένα» θέματα, τα τραγούδια τους είναι μικρά σε διάρκεια, κιθάρα, μπάσο και τύμπανα παίρνουν φωτιά! Τι περισσότερο να ζητήσει κάποιος φαν του συγκεκριμένου ήχου δηλαδή; Εντάξει, εγώ δεν είμαι και ο καλύτερος φαν για αυτή τη μουσική αλλά δεν έχω πρόβλημα να παραδεχτώ ότι το tell me why με εκτροχίασε!!!.

TITUS OATES Jungle Lady

Jungle Lady was first released in '74, while the second version with differrent remix came out after a little more, and from this comes this reissue by Guerssen! Texans Titus Oates in these nine songs did nothing else except to record amazing songs, with divine melodies, magical organ, notably vocals, psychedelic rock sound, with progressive and hard influence. It is one of the not so many of the 70s lp that stands out and not drowned in then blurred state with so many boring progressive rock albums. The Titus Oates seems to have bottomless talent for writing songs and they show it with the great blanket, while highlights are the jungle lady, friend of life, time is only to fear, dream on a train, mr lips. Recommend!

Το Jungle Lady πρωτοκυκλοφόρησε το ’74, ενώ η δεύτερη έκδοση με άλλο ρεμίξ βγήκε λίγο πιο μετά, και από αυτή προέρχεται αυτή η επανέκδοση της Guerssen!  Οι Τεξανοί Titus Oates σε αυτά τα 9 τραγούδια δεν έκαναν τίποτα άλλο εκτός από το να ηχογραφούν απίθανα τραγούδια, με θεϊκές μελωδίες, μαγικό όργανο, ξεχωριστά φωνητικά, ψυχεδελικό ροκ ήχο, με προγκρέσιβ και χαρντ προεκτάσεις. Είναι ένα, από τα όχι και τόσα πολλά lp των 70ς, που ξεχωρίζει και δεν πνίγεται μέσα στην τότε θολή κατάσταση με τα βαρετά προγκρέσιβ ροκ άλμπουμ. Οι Titus Oates μοιάζει να είχαν απύθμενο ταλέντο στο να γράφουν τραγούδια και αυτό φαίνεται με το εξαιρετικό blanket, ενώ κορυφαίες στιγμές είναι και τα jungle lady, friend of life, time is only to fear, dream on a train, mr lips. Επενδύστε άφοβα!

TYLL Sexphonie

Excellent reissue (the first indeed !!) of the album by Germans Tyll. Circulation 1975, contains some of the most interesting songs of the 70s in general, since the Tyll played an exciting mix of progressive, acid rock, kraut, had some hard psychedelic sounds and finally few moments of folk. All this played in a fantastic way, with references of course to Zappa and rendered with the essential insanity!! And since I'm not the best friend of the German language, the Tyll care of it and singing a little! Top songs is the tim with Eloy reports, the oriental folk asiatische liebeserklärung, the underground schizophrenia of nervenzusammenbruch einer gitarre and of course the delirium song - grammophon which includes the sound that they represent, prog, Psychedelic, acid guitars and folk!

Εξαιρετική επανέκδοση (πρώτη μάλιστα!!) του άλμπουμ των Γερμανών Tyll. Κυκλοφορία του 1975, περιέχει μερικά από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα τραγούδια των 70ς γενικότερα, μιας και οι Tyll έπαιζαν ένα συναρπαστικό μείγμα από progressive, acid rock, είχαν ορισμένους hard ψυχεδελικούς ήχους και τέλος μερικές φολκ στιγμές. Όλα αυτά παιγμένα με καταπληκτικό τρόπο, με αναφορές φυσικά στον Zappa και δοσμένα με την απαραίτητη παράνοια!! Και μιας και δεν είμαι και ο καλύτερος φίλος της γερμανικής γλώσσας, οι Tyll φροντίζουν και τραγουδάνε ελάχιστα! Τοπ τραγούδια είναι το tim με τις Eloy αναφορές, το ανατολίτικο φολκ asiatische liebeserklärung, η αντεργκράουντ σχιζοφρένεια του nervenzusammenbruch einer gitarre και φυσικά το delirium song – grammophon το οποίο περικλείει τον ήχο που αντιπροσωπεύουν, progressive, ψυχεδέλια, άσιντ κιθάρες και φολκ!

Καταπληκτική επανέκδοση!!!
