Sun Dial, one of the most important neo-psychedelic groups of the 90's, with a super first album (Other Way Out) and with an extraordinary continuity, is again here, with a new release, Made In The Machine. In this album, and after Mind Control which released in 2012, things are different. In this album our English friends are experimenting with electronic music, having left the electric psychedelic music outside of these 14 songs! The rhythms are influenced by space and by Krautrock, some tracks have a strong palm, there are more atmospheric compositions, most of them are without lyrics, and I think that if you bear in mind Porcupine Tree, 90s Hawkwind and some More electronic kraut bands you'll get the Sun Dial sound!
In few words, Made In The Machine is an excellent album with some amazing songs like regenerator, in the machine, meltdown and autopilot. And of course we agree that it is good that the music evolves, the musicians go forward, but here at gew-gaw we will be glad to hear again Gary Ramon and his companion to electrify our souls with their heavenly guitars and their unparalleled psychedelia !!

 Οι Sun Dial, ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα νέο-ψυχεδελικά συγκροτήματα των 90ς, με ένα αριστουργηματικό πρώτο άλμπουμ (Other Way Out) και με εξαιρετική συνέχεια, είναι ξανά εδώ, με μια νέα κυκλοφορία, το Made In The Machine. Στο άλμπουμ αυτό, και αφού είχε προηγηθεί το Mind Control το 2012, τα πράγματα είναι διαφορετικά. Στο άλμπουμ αυτό οι Άγγλοι φίλοι μας πειραματίζονται με την ηλεκτρονική μουσική, έχοντας αφήσει την ηλεκτρική ψυχεδελική μουσική έξω από αυτά τα 14 τραγούδια! Οι ρυθμοί είναι επηρεασμένοι από την space και από το Krautrock, ορισμένα κομμάτια έχουν έντονο παλμό, υπάρχουν και οι πιο ατμοσφαιρικές συνθέσεις, τα περισσότερα είναι χωρίς στίχους, και νομίζω ότι αν φέρεται στο μυαλό σας τους Porcupine Tree, τους Hawkwind των 90ς καθώς και κάποιων πιο ηλεκτρονικών kraut σχημάτων θα είστε μέσα στον ήχο των Sun Dial!
Με λίγα λόγια το Made In The Machine είναι ένα εξαιρετικό άλμπουμ, με ορισμένα καταπληκτικά τραγούδια όπως είναι το regenerator, το in the machine, το meltdown και το autopilot. Και φυσικά συμφωνούμε ότι καλό είναι η μουσική να εξελίσσεται, οι μουσικοί να εξελίσσονται, αλλά εμείς εδώ στο gew-gaw θα χαρούμε να ακούσουμε ξανά τον Gary Ramon και την παρέα του να ηλεκτρίζουν τις ψυχές μας με τις ουράνιες κιθάρες τους και την απαράμιλλη ψυχεδέλεια τους!!
