Richard X. Heyman is the drummer and founder member of the garage/r’n’r band Doughboys . He also has several personal albums! The new one 13^th, is called Pop Circles. Here Heyman plays almost all the instruments (including Nancy Leigh on the bass, Julia Kent on cello and Chris Jenkins on the viola) and records 18 songs, 18 great pop melodies. Of course Heyman is based on the specific sound and uses it to give us some more paisley and garage songs. The album begins and ends with Guess You Had To Be There (the second performance lasting longer), an excellent pop candy that gives us the mark of the whole album. And of course there are some songs that really are great, If You're So Inclined Hope, Until Now, Rute 22, and Until The Clock Strikes Doom, which Doughboys have also played!

O Richard X. Heyman είναι ο ντράμερ και από τα ιδρυτικά μέλη της γκαράζ/ροκνρολ μπάντας Doughboys. Έχει όμως και αρκετά προσωπικά άλμπουμ! Το νέο του,  Pop Circles είναι νομίζω το 13^ο του.  Εδώ ο Heyman παίζει σχεδόν όλα τα όργανα μόνος του (συμμετέχουν η Nancy Leigh στο μπάσο, η Julia Kent στο τσέλο και Chris Jenkins στη βιόλα) και ηχογραφεί 18 τραγούδια, 18 υπέροχες ποπ μελωδίες. Φυσικά ο Heyman έχει ως βάση τον συγκεκριμένο ήχο και τον χρησιμοποιεί για να μας χαρίσει και ορισμένα πιο paisley και garage τραγούδια. Το άλμπουμ ξεκινάει και τελειώνει με το Guess You Had To Be There (με την δεύτερη εκτέλεση να διαρκεί περισσότερο), ένα εξαιρετικό ποπ γλύκισμα, το οποίο μας δίνει το στίγμα ολόκληρου του άλμπουμ. Και φυσικά υπάρχουν και ορισμένα τραγούδια τα οποία πραγματικά είναι υπέροχα, If You're So Inclined Hope, Until Now, Rute 22 κλπ, καθώς  και το Until The Clock Strikes Doom, το οποίο έχουν πει και οι Doughboys!
