The (Amazing) Drop was released in 2001 and was their last “real”
album. Since then, Quarkspace (Darren Gough: Guitar, Backing Vox, Chet Santia:
Bass, Guitars, Guide Vox, Jay Swanson: Keyboards, Synths, Beats, Backing Vox,
Song Length Commentary, Paul Williams: Drumming, Synths, Keyboards, Fake
Mellotrons , Beats, Loops, Moog, Backing Vox) have landed their spacecraft on
an isolated planet and they have switched off the engines! Now, after 17 years,
Quarkspace put their vehicle back in front and started exploring the
farthest galaxies of the human mind! Here again we have all these standard of
the sound of our friends from Ohio.
Improvisational, electric and electronic moods, plenty of
psychedelic passes, space-amazing songs, tracks that take you by the hand and
travel you to distant planets. Inspired songs such as starbridge freaks 4, masterful all
these suns, as well as solar
progenics, the prodigal galaxy!!
Oldest I wrote for Quarkspace that it is one of the closest planets on planet Hawkwind!! Quarkspace are where galaxies collide !!

Το (καταπληκτικό) Drop είχε κυκλοφορήσει το 2001 και ήταν το
τελευταίο κανονικό άλμπουμ των . Έκτοτε, οι Quarkspace (Darren Gough: Guitar, Backing Vox, Chet Santia: Bass, Guitars, Guide Vox , Jay Swanson: Keyboards, Synths, Beats, Backing Vox, Song Length Commentary, Paul Williams: Drumming, Synths, Keyboards, Fake Mellotrons, Beats, Loops, Moog, Backing Vox) προσεδαφωσαν το διαστημικό τους πλοίο σε
κάποιον απομονωμένο πλανήτη και έσβησαν τις μηχανές! Τώρα, ύστερα απο 17
ολόκληρα χρόνια, οι Quarkspace έβαλαν πάλι μπροστά το όχημα τους και ξεκίνησαν
και πάλι τις εξερευνήσεις στους πιο απομακρυσμένους γαλαξίες του ανθρώπινου
εγκεφάλου!! Εδω έχουμε και πάλι όλα αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά στοιχεία του ήχου
των φίλων μας απο το Ohio. Αυτοσχεδιασμοί, ηλεκτρικές και
ηλεκτρονικές διαθέσεις, άφθονα ψυχεδελικά περάσματα, space καταπληκτικά τραγούδια, κομμάτια που σε
παίρνουν από το χέρι και σε ταξιδεύουν σε μακρινους πλανήτες. Εμπνευσμένα
τραγούδια, όπως το starbridge freaks 4, το αριστουργηματικό all these suns, καθώς και τα solar progenics, the prodigal galaxy!!
Είχα γράψει ποιο παλιά για
τους Quarkspace οτι ειναι απο τους κοντινότερους πλανήτες στον πλανήτη Hawkwind!! Και για την ακρίβεια οι Quarkspace
βρίσκονται εκεί όπου οι γαλαξίες συγκρούονται!!
