CYMBELINE 1965-1971

From Sweden the amazing Cymbeline was created in 1965 by Michael Journath and Anders Weyde, and they began to record their songs at their home. The beat sound dominated but soon their sound became more garage, more psychedelic and sometimes more progressive or even folk! In 1970 a single was released by ULF Ryberg, which included new york and the sixth Image on the other side, and in 1971 they recorded some songs for an lp, which had a different sound from their first recordings. This album contains the single and other 13 unreleased songs, recorded from '65 to '71.

Okay, listening to the third image catches me a chubby, similar to the one that caught me when I first started listening all the amazing lost diamonds at Pebbles vol 3!! An incredible song full of acid/psychic fumes!! Or by listening to the look at the stars the only thing you can do is speechless its simplicity.

Απο τη Σουηδία οι καταπληκτικοί Cymbeline είχαν δημιουργηθεί το 1965 απο τους Michael Journath και Anders Weyde, και άρχισαν να ηχογραφούν τα τραγούδια τους στο σπίτι του δεύτερου. Ο beat ήχος κυριαρχούσε αλλά σύντομα ο ήχος τους έγινε πιο γκαράζ, πιο ψυχεδελικός και ενίοτε πιο progressive ή και φολκ!! To 1970 ένα σινγκλ κυκλοφόρησε απο την ULF Ryberg, το οποίο περιείχε το new york και στην άλλη πλευρά το sixth Image, ενώ το 1971 ηχογράφησαν κάποια τραγούδια για ένα ελπι, τα οποία είχαν διαφορετικό ήχο από τις πρώτες ηχογραφήσεις τους. Αυτό το άλμπουμ περιέχει το σινγκλ και άλλα 13 ακυκλοφόρητα τραγούδια, ηχογραφημένα απο το ’65 έως το ’71.

Εντάξει, ακούγοντας το third image σε πιάνει μια ανατριχίλα, αντίστοιχη με αυτη που σε έπιανε όταν πρωτοάκουγες όλα τα καταπληκτικά χαμένα διαμάντια στο Pebbles vol 3!! Ένα απίστευτο τραγούδι γεμάτο acid/psych αναθυμιάσεις!! Ή ακούγοντας το look at the stars μένεις άφωνος με την απλότητα του.
