Anton Barbeau is a pop artist where I was heard him for the first time in a Fruits De Mer's 7'' the Psychedelic Mynde Of Moses (what an amazing song !!!). A few weeks ago Barbeau sent me his latest album Magic Act. The sound of the songs are pretty indie/pop with some psych elements, the songs are very melodic, in the album we can hear some very good compositions such as the very pop sit your leggy down and black lemon sauce (which slightly closes the eye at Dukes Of Stratosphear!) or the beautiful and slightly more psychedelic euphemism & innuendo. In wait of you Barbeau rocks, but the song which blew my mind is the wonderful and unique heavy psychedelic toilet! An impressive psych/pop song, one of those that rarely written!!

Ο Anton Barbeau είναι ένας pop καλλιτέχνης οπού εγώ τον άκουσα για πρώτη φορά σε ένα 7΄΄ της Fruits De Mer το Psychedelic Mynde Of Moses (τι καταπληκτικό τραγούδι!!!). Πριν από λίγες βδομάδες ο Barbeau μου έστειλε το τελευταίο του άλμπουμ με τίτλο Magic Act. Ο ήχος των τραγουδιών είναι αρκετά indie/pop με ελάχιστα psych στοιχεία, τα τραγούδια του είναι πολύ μελωδικά, στο άλμπουμ μπορούμε να ακούσουμε και μερικές πολύ καλές συνθέσεις όπως είναι τα εξαιρετικά pop sit your leggy down και black lemon sauce (το οποίο κλείνει ελαφρώς το μάτι στους Dukes Of Stratosphear!) ή και το όμορφο και ελαφρώς πιο ψυχεδελικό euphemism & innuendo. Στο wait of you ο Barbeau ροκάρει, το τραγούδι όμως που με ξετίναξε είναι το υπέροχο και μοναδικό heavy psychedelic toilet! Ένα εντυπωσιακό psych/pop τραγούδι από αυτά που γράφονται σπάνια!!
