Εντάξει, ήρθε η ώρα για κάτι πραγματικά σπέσιαλ! Το ακυκλοφόρητο μέχρι σήμερα άλμπουμ των εγγλέζων Snake Eye είναι ένα, η μάλλον ήταν, ένα κρυμμένο διαμάντι το οποίο είχε ηχογραφηθεί μεταξύ ’71-’73 σε διάφορα στούντιο στο Λονδίνο. Ξεκίνησαν το 1970 σαν Red Dirt, μπάντα με ένα πολύ καλό και συλλεκτικό άλμπουμ! Αργότερα οι Peter F. Amott και Ivan Mant, οι οποίοι μαζί με τους John Sherry Agency και Miles Copeland αλλά, πλέον και με τον Ron Hales στην λιντ κιθάρα, εμφανίστηκαν με το νέο τους όνομα Snake Eye. Ξεκίνησαν να ηχογραφούν ένα κόνσεπτ άλμπουμ το The Journey,το 1971 και το ολοκλήρωσαν δυο χρόνια αργότερα.  Είχε κυκλοφορήσει το 2016 σε ένα σιντι και τώρα ήρθε η ώρανα το απολαύσουμε σε βινύλιο έκδοση! Ένα εκπληκτικό άλμπουμ το οποίο περιέχει 6 τραγούδια συνολικής διάρκειας κοντά στα 50 λεπτά, όπου οι κιθάρες, οι εναλλαγές του ρυθμού σε κάθε τραγούδι, τα θαυμάσια φωνητικά, όλα ηχούν αριστουργηματικά!! Πραγματικά δεν υπάρχει τραγούδι που να υστερεί. Εγώ  έχω κολλήσει με τα ανυπέρβλητα The Journey, Sweet Dream Lady, The Heart of A Young Boy. Ένα γνήσιο εγγλέζικο heavy progressive ροκ άλμπουμ όπου απλά το αγοράζεις και (αφού το λιώσεις στο παίξιμο) το τοποθετείς δίπλα σε αυτά των Wishbone Ash, των King Crimson και όλων αυτών των αντίστοιχων συγκροτημάτων.

Okay, it's time for something really special! The hitherto unreleased album (on vinyl) by Englishmen Snake Eye is, or rather was, a hidden gem recorded between '71-'73 in various studios in London. They started in 1970 as Red Dirt, a band with a very good and collectable album! Later Peter F. Amott and Ivan Mant, who together with John Sherry Agency and Miles Copeland and with Ron Hales on lead guitar, appeared under their new name Snake Eye. They began recording a concept album, The Journey, in 1971 and completed it two years later. It was released in 2016 on a CD and now it's time to enjoy it on vinyl!! An amazing album that included  6 songs with a total duration of close to 50 minutes, where the guitars, the changes of rhythm in each song, the wonderful vocals, everything sounds great!! A truly masterpiece!! There really isn't a song that lags behind but i'm stuck with the insurmountable The Journey, the amazing Sweet Dream Lady and the brilliant The Heart of A Young Boy. A genuine English heavy progressive rock album where you just buy it and (after melting it playing to your record player) put it next to Wishbone Ash, King Crimson and all those bands.
