THUS All of Thus

Guerssen

Thus's only album was released in 1968 in 265 copies. A genuine garage album that combined their songs with some very good covers. Their sound was very charming, and from the tracks was born an extremely seductive power emerged where, in combination with the recording, they gave this album a completely justifiably good reputation in the circles of the garage music. From their amazing moody songs, Uncharted Voyage Of Thought Processes, Just A Little, Artificial Lies, to some fantastic covers, the dynamic Bye Bye Baby or from the unexpectedly great cover on Walk On By etc, Thus prove how good a band they were. Of course, the songs that stand out are the first two, the masterpiece Rely and the very good Kid Of A Dream, two psych/garage tracks. Reissue on black or white vinyl (white vinyl only in 105 numbered copies.)

Doctors of Space "Studio Session Sept 2021" "Studio Session October 2021"

Doctors of Space come from Portugal and are Dr. Space (Scott Heller) and Dr. Martin Weaver. They take their analog and electronic instruments, put on their space suits and 3D glasses, and embark on their multidimensional intergalactic travels. In these two sessions, they apparently recorded a burning comet from the future. They make sure the sounds are full of electronical/ kraut/space, ambient, synths/punk. Sometimes you may feel bloated and hovering between your mind and your thoughts, while others you may feel excluded on a dark planet, but WAIT, this trip is quite interesting! So, make a big step on those thoughts and free your minds from the earthly anxiety. Two releases, 7 tracks in total, over two hours of music.

THE BEET FREAKS A Load Of Hits

 Lost In Tyme Records

From Sweden the Beet Freaks consist of Niklas Noren vocals/Guitar, Marcus Ryman guitar/organ, Rob Flex Andersson drums/backing vocals, Michael Olsson bass. This single is the second for this band since it was preceded by the Freak Beet EP which was released in 2020 in just 200 copies. What We Have Here; we have 4 garage songs of primitive sound-listen the wild sixties garage/punk Run and Hide, but at the same time 4 delicious songs of melodic pleasure which culminates with the very cool moody track black room. Top track! Garage/punk full influenced from 60s and 80s (revival) garage bands & a splendid single for all garage maniacs!

DOMADORA Suffering Brothers

Domadora, a stoner band from Paris, is releasing a new album called Suffering Brothers, for download only for the moment. Our French friends have a lot of releases in the past years, while in the future they’ll have more! Here, with the exception of the song that opens the album, "the suffering brother"s, which is flirting between stoner and heavy blues, in the other 3 tracks Domadora  jamming and the music lead them (there are no lyrics in any of them) to more labyrinthine/kraut/psych paths. Ardwel Courta-percussions, Tommy Foster-guitar have been added to this band (Tao Delport- drums, Gui Omm-bass, Belwil Domadora-guitar). The sounds in the "following the teachings","the u book" and the 30 minute "spiritual seeds", are magically elusive, it’s kraut rock, sometimes they become more pop, more tribal, they floating in space and create a strangely relaxed situation which they energize towards the end of all three tracks.

NEON PEARL 1967 Recordings

Guerssen

The English Neon Pearl were formed in 1967 by Peter Dunton (Gun, Please, T2), and after some changes the band took its final form and
consisted of Peter Dunton (drums/keyboards/vocals), Bernie Jinks (bass) and Nick Spenser (guitar). The band recorded some amazing songs, full of psychedelic/pop smells, which, however, didn’t pique the interest of any label, as a result of which they remained unreleased for many years, while Dunton created the exquisite and   supreme band of Please! Some of the songs of Neon Pearl such as Dream Scream, Forever, Urban Ways, What You See etc, are magical, extremely psychedelic and lyrical. It is surprising that that tracks were not released then! Be that as it may, the release of Guerssen comes for those who didn't get the reissue of Acme a few years ago. Take it NOW!

MAQUINA Why?

 Guerssen

Why? by Maquina from Catalonia was first album released back in 1970 on the Diábolo label and has since been considered one of the Spanish top psychedelic/prog albums. Josep Maria “Tapi” Vilaseca (drums), Josep Maria París (fuzz guitar), Luigi Cabanach (wah guitar), Enric Herrera (organ) and Jordi Batiste (bass/flute/ vocals) in their first album offered us an unsurpassed album full of fuzz and wah guitars, extremely colorful organ, wonderful flute and nice vocals! Of course, the album features the eponymous 24-minute song split on both sides of the vinyl, where the guitars derailments are maintained on earth with the help of an excellent organ, as well as the drums. Of course, we must not forget the great I believe that opens the album, one of the top songs that had been recorded in Spain!! An album for those who have not had the chance to get it until now, which is released of white vinyl of 300 copies.
