The Inland Sea is the third album by the Australians Ahkmed. Our friends continue their musical adventures in their own dark paths, full of images, sounds, sound transitions in songs sometimes hard, sometimes ambient, sometimes closer to psychedelia, sometimes space, guitars swirling between the bass and the drums, but always engaged in their own musical world! Five long lasting compositions are in this double vinyl, with the excellent last hour of light, in 20 minutes that it takes to disclose the talents of the three Ahkmed!

Το The Inland Sea είναι το τρίτο άλμπουμ των αυστραλών Ahkmed. Οι φίλοι μας συνεχίζουν τις μουσικές τους περιπλανήσεις στα δικά τους σκοτεινά μονοπάτια, γεμάτα εικόνες, εναλλαγές ήχων σε τραγούδια άλλοτε σκληρά, άλλοτε ambient, άλλοτε πιο κοντά στην ψυχεδέλεια, άλλοτε space, οι κιθάρες να στροβιλίζονται ανάμεσα στο μπάσο και τα τύμπανα, πάντα όμως προσηλωμένοι στον δικό τους μουσικό κόσμο! Πέντε μεγάλης διαρκείας συνθέσεις βρίσκονται σε αυτό το διπλό βινύλιο, με το εξαιρετικό last hour of light, στα 20 λεπτά που διαρκεί να ξετυλίγει το ταλέντο των τριών Ahkmed!

This amazing album is the debut of the Danish Syreregn, which was released in 2009 only in cd and now on vinyl for Kozmik Artifactz! Whatever you said about this album will be little! Psychedelic heavy rock with blues references songs, incredible energy pouring out from every note, so this is an exciting hard rock album. The Syreregn sing in their own language and in English, the way they drain their influences from Zeppelin and many blues group, the acid guitars, the amazing songs present in the album make this album stands out!!!! And of course there are two songs which rouse me, the fantastic psychedelic blues syreregn and of course the time the time with the guitar comes from the depth and raises us to heaven!! Fans of hard psychedelic blues sound, as it stood up in the late sixties early seventies, will love it!! I did it!!!

Αυτό το καταπληκτικό άλμπουμ είναι το ντεμπούτο των Δανών Syreregn, το οποίο είχε κυκλοφορήσει το 2009 μόνο σε cd. Ότι και να ειπωθεί για αυτό το άλμπουμ θα είναι λίγο! Ψυχεδελικά heavy ροκ με blues αναφορές τραγούδια, απίστευτη ενέργεια να ξεχειλίζει από κάθε νότα, αυτός ναι, είναι ένας συναρπαστικός hard rock δίσκος. Οι Syreregn τραγουδούν και στην γλώσσα τους και στα αγγλικά, ο τρόπος που διοχετεύουν τις όποιες επιρροές τους από Zeppelin και πολλά blues γκρουπ, οι acid κιθάρες τους, οι τραγουδάρες που υπάρχουν στο άλμπουμ κάνουν αυτή την κυκλοφορία να ξεχωρίζει!!!! Και φυσικά υπάρχουν και δυο τραγούδια που με ξετίναξαν, το φανταστικό ψυχεδελικό blues Syreregn και βέβαια το time the time με την κιθάρα να έρχεται από το βάθος και να μας ανεβάζει στα ουράνια!! Οι φίλοι του σκληρού ψυχεδελικού blues ήχου, όπως αυτός διαμορφώθηκε τέλη σίξτις αρχές σέβεντις, θα προσκυνήσουν!! Εγώ αυτό έκανα!!!

OG Out Of The Darkness

 

Out Of The Darkness by Og tells us the story of Imma, a young goddess and how she was trapped in a forest! The Og plays (almost) all the instruments, has written more songs alone while Will Z involved in writing lyrics and voice, Sammy Goldstein on drums , Alice Artaud and Hadrien Meyers on voices. The music is a mix of gentle-folk fairytale moments, prog sounds, some baroque references and of course psychedelic delights! As I am writing these lines and hearing the moloch, I think that he is the clone of Maisie (Syd Barrett)!! General influences seem to emanate from Floyd (with and without Barrett!), a few great German prog groups and of course English and Scandinavian dreamy folk bands!! The mechanical flamingo and every number is two trippy and magical moments. The long night begins softly but soon led to a bad this time trip out . Finally, outstanding moments are a lot in this album, imma, snake king, through the tree-ear, the wonderful knighthood and the fantastic out of the darkness! The beautiful cover made by Wayne Anderson and the album is really admirable and indispensable to by heard be everyone! Only 150 copies !!

Το Out Of The Darkness του Og μας λέει την ιστορία της Imma, μιας νεαρής θεάς και πως αυτή παγιδεύτηκε σε κάποιο δάσος! Ο Og παίζει (σχεδόν) όλα τα όργανα, έχει γράψει τα περισσότερα τραγούδια μόνος του ενώ συμμετέχουν ο Will Z στο γράψιμο των στίχων και στη φωνή, ο Sammy Goldstein στα τύμπανα οι Alice Artaud και Hadrien Meyers στις φωνές. Η μουσική είναι ένα κράμα από απαλές φολκ-παραμυθένιες στιγμές, progressive ήχους, κάποιες baroque αναφορές και φυσικά ψυχεδελικής απόλαυσης! Τώρα που γράφω αυτές τις γραμμές και ακούω το moloch, νομίζω ότι είναι ο κλώνος του Maisie!! Γενικά οι επιρροές μοιάζουν να πηγάζουν από τους Floyd (με και χωρίς Barrett!), από μερικά σπουδαία γερμανικά prog γκρουπ και φυσικά εγγλέζικα αλλά και σκανδιναβικά φολκ συγκροτήματα!! Τα mechanical flamingo και every number είναι δυο τριπαριστές όσο και μαγευτικές στιγμές. Το long night ξεκινάει απαλά αλλά δεν αργεί να οδηγηθεί σε ένα άσχημο αυτή τη φορά τριπάρισμα. Τέλος, έξοχες στιγμές υπάρχουν σε αφθονία στο άλμπουμ αυτό, imma, snake king, through the tree-ear, το θαυμάσιο knighthood και το λυτρωτικό out of the darkness! Το όμορφο εξώφυλλο είναι του Wayne Anderson και τα άλμπουμ αυτό είναι πραγματικά αξιοθαύμαστο και εντελώς απαραίτητο να ακουστεί από όλους! Μόλις 150 κόπιες βινυλίου!!
